The Comedy Club Asia's Sunday Sessions (Mystery Guest!)

Come join us for some laughs at our first ever Sunday Sessions at the Merry Lion.

We have FIVE awesome acts plus a Mystery Guest coming all the way from Portland, USA.

1. Rishi Budhrani
Rishi announced his arrival in the stand up comedy world by winning the Hong Kong International Comedy Competition in 2012. One of the original "Sons of Singapore" comedy trio - Rishi has travelled around the world to perform in comedy clubs and comedy festivals. He recently performed his 2nd solo hour show "Cannot Means Cannot 2" to sold-out theatres in Singapore and Malaysia.

2. Sharul Channa
Comedian, Actor, Playwright – there is nothing that this superwoman cannot do. Our resident laser-mouthed comedienne gave a taste of her style with her solo show titled "Pottymouth" and hasn't looked back ever since. Her performances are in high demand – she was recently featured in the Comedy Zone Asia show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and performed two sold-out solo shows at the Darwin Festival.

3. Artur
Who says Russians do not have a sense of humour? Artur is the winner of the 2018 Bangkok International Comedy Competition. He’s performed live in Singapore, Thailand, Australia, HK & South Korea and has opened for international comedians like Brendon Burns, Alistair Barrie, Ahmed Ahmed, Dwayne Perkins & Jinx Yeo. He’s also performed at Singapore Comedy Fringe, Magners Comedy Competition and StoryFest: International Storytelling Festival Singapore.

4. Jacky Ng
Jacky is Singapore's youngest working comedian. With a unique sense of style and humour, Jacky's stories on his hopes and dreams as well as his observations of daily life have made him a popular figure in the local stand up scene.

At only 23, he has performed in comedy shows around Asia and was also the youngest comedian to perform at the Singapore Comedy Fringe Festival 2016. Jacky has also supported international acts such as Stewart Goldsmith and Stephen Carlin ob their regional shows.

5. Qam
Qam recently won the FIFA 19 FUT Online League. Apart from that he is one of the rising stars in the Singapore stand up comedy scene. He recently opened for Fakkah Fuzz in front of a sold-out crowd of 2,000 at the Esplanade Theatre.

6. Mystery Guest
Who doesn't like a bit of mystery? We have a pro comic joining us all the way from Portland, USA.
